The `Urs Shareef of Sultanul Auliya, Hadrat Shaykh Abu Muhammad `Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani (May Allah sanctify his honourable secret), will take place as follows:
Wednesday 03 Feb: Khatme Khwajegaan and Na`t recitals after Maghrib in the Mazaar Shareef
Thursday 04: Qul Shareef Khatam on all deceased after Esha in the Masjid.
Friday 05: Jumu'ah talk will be presented by Shaykh Goolam Hafiz Rooknodien.
After Maghrib: Gyarwi renditions in the Masjid
Saturday 06: The Sandal Shareef will start after `Asr Salaah, proceeding from the house of Hadrat Moulana `Abdul Lateef RA to the Mazaar Shareef. Niyaaz supper will be served after Maghrib.
Sunday 07: The programme will commence at 9am with a Qur'an Khatam. Breakfast will be served at 10am. The programme will continue at 11am with Na`t and Manqabat recitals. The guest speaker will be Hafiz Irshaad Soofie from Durban, and the lecture will start at 12pm. Thereafter, Salami & Du`a and Thuhr Salah. Niyaaz luinch will be served after Thuhr.
All Welcome! Accommodation for ladies will be provided.
The Urus Shareef of Hazrath Khwaja Gharib Nawaaz RA will be celebrated from Wednesday 17 Rajab (06 May), opening with the Khatme Khwajegaan in the Mazaar after Maghrib.
Thereafter, programme continues with Na't Shareef recitals, Salaami & Du'a. The programme will continue after Esha with a Gyarwi Shareef.

Wisaal Khatam of Hazrath Soofie Saheb RA, Hadra Thikr by Qadiriyyah Shathiliyyah after Esha in the Masjid.
Fri 19 (08 May):
Jumu'ah programme commences before Athaan with a recitation of the Holy Qur'an. Jumu'ah Lecture by guest speaker.
After Esha: Na't Shareef rendition by Chiragh-e-Faqir Chisti International, in the Mazaar.
Sat 20 (09 May):
After 'Asr: Thikr by 'Ibadur Rahman Qadiriyyah Jamaat in the Masjid, for males.
Thikr by Ad-Dairatus Salihiyyah in the Mazaar, for Ladies only.
After Maghrib: Niaz supper will be served.
After Esha: Sandal procession leaves house of Hazrath Moulana 'Abdul Latief Qadi Siddiqi RA, Na't Shareef recital, Salami & Du'a, Hoisting of the Chisti Flaq, and Qawwali in the Mazaar.
Sun 21 (10 May):
Programme commences in the Masjid with a Khatam on all deceased.
10am: Breakfast will be served.
11am: Meelad Shareef, Na't Shareef, & Lecture by Sheikh Mahdi Kriel, Salami & Du'a.
12h55pm: Thuhr Salaah.
Niaz Lunch will be served after Thuhr.
3pm: Ratieb programme.

after Maghrib in the Masjid. This will continue for the first 10 nights of Rabi-'ul-Akhir, with a Na't rendition on the 11th night in the Mazaar Shareef.

CAPE TOWN: The Habibia Soofie Masjid in Cape Town, will be unveiling the newly renovated
mazaar/karamat of its founder, Hazrath Moulana Abdul Latief Qazi Siddiqi (RA), with a weekend long
event from Thursday 25 April until Sunday 28 April 2013.
The event coincides with the 100 year wisaal of Moulana Abdul Latief’s passing. The event aptly
themed “Ihsaan – The Science of Spirituality,” aims to not only reintroduce the country’s Muslim
community to the mazaar, but also to the legacy left by the Awliya in the Cape.
Renowned international and local guests have been invited to host discuss contemporary matters
such as the teachings of Tasawwuf and their practical application in today’s society.
Programme Director Shameegh Pangarker explains: “We want the Muslims of Cape Town and the
rest of the country to celebrate the fact that we are a small yet vibrant community by remembering
those who brought Islam to our shores.”
Pangarker adds that the program is specifically aimed at drawing youth. “We have specifically invited
a number of young Ulema to attract a younger audience, although the program will appeal to people
from all walks of life.”
There will be a wealth of entertainment in the form of Naat Shareef, Qawaal and Qasidah programs
as well as a Middle Eastern souk. A special ladies-only Naat programme hosted by radio personality
Zakia Ahmed has also been confirmed.
Meanwhile beverage company Jive has come on board as the main sponsor of the event. “Jive has
proven once again that they are prepared to plough back into the community they serve and we look
forward to having them as the sole supplier of refreshments at the event,” Usama Kagee,
sponsorship co-ordinator for Habibia, said.
